“Tony’s photography began as a means to document his annual climbing trips to Scotland where he would often travel as a young man from his home in Derby England. It was during an extensive period of traveling during the 1970’s and 1980’s through Europe, the Middle East and Asia with Penny that he developed a broad image database and an eye for capturing light and color while documenting the people and landscapes of these much loved regions. The last two decades he has expanded his portfolio to include extensive imagery taken in Tibet, Ladakh, Nepal, India, China, Muskoka and the Caribbean. Tony is noted for his photo-journalistic ability to capture moments and people, he has made a point of using traditional photographic techniques with little to no digital manipulation providing clients with an authentic photographic image and a window into these remote regions. Penny and Tony are both excited to be part of the new Shipyards family.”
